Pantheism is a concept that I have no problem with as well. I think you can be both not believing in a traditional creator and believe all things are connected somehow. I hope you and James have a good and meaningful experience. It's neat that you guys relate so much with atheism. I never really felt a part of that ideology. I went to church when I was younger but it was never pushed on me the way it seems it was you, and maybe that's why I've never really cared that much either way. I always wonder too, do ideological atheists have problems with all conceptions of god? For example I never say that I don't believe in god. A friend and I were on a walk this winter and she asked me if I believed in god. I thought for a minute and said, "yeah". I decided that to me "god is the intricate pattern of interrelationship that exists throughout all things". So to me it's like, god is everywhere and everything. Is that any different than saying there is no god? For me to say there is no god would be for me to say there is no connection we are all islands in an infinite sea, you know?
